5th Annual, All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show

This will be the fifth year for this big event.  The All Mitsu Cookout is the LARGEST Mitsubishi event in the Upper Midwest!!  Come join in on the fun!  This year we have a brand new location.   The Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers.

This year we have a brand new sponser.   Brookdale Mitsubishi will be sponsoring the All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show!!

brookdale.jpg (4325 bytes)

Who: owners of 3000GT, Stealth, Eclipse, Talon, Laser, Galant VR4, EVO, Lancer, Starion, Conquest, Mirage, Colt, Cordia, Avenger, Sebring coupe, and Stratus coupe.

What:  A cookout and car show for all Mitsubishi made sport cars.  The activities include grilling brats and hamburgers, talking cars and giving away door prizes.  New this year will be trophies!!  Also I'll be doing the Mitsubishi trivia contest.

Where: At Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers, MN.  The car museum has a nice grass lot behind the building for us to display our cars.

When: Saturday, August 23rd, 2003 from 11am to 4pm.

Why: Because getting this many Mitsubishi sports cars together in one place is a awesome site.  Owners also get a chance to meet other enthusiasts in the area.

We had 75 Mitsubishis attend this event last year.  Check out the last four years events:
All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show, 2002
All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show, 2001

All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show, 2000
All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show, 1999

Each owner will need to pay $5 for the food, prizes and trophies.  Because of the sponsorship this year, the Cookout is actually cheaper!  You can pay the day of the show, or you can pre-register, and send me a check to:

Looking for a hotel room?
I did a search on Orbitz.com and came up with three good choices:

Americinn
21800 Industrial Blvd
Rogers, MN 55374
763-428-4346
$67 a night Its a basic hotel, but they do have a pool and are located only a mile from the Cookout.
Super 8
21130 134th Ave. North
Rogers, MN 55374
763-428-4000
$73 a night I've been in this hotel, and its considered a no thrills hotel.  Its within walking distance to the Cookout.  Less than 1/2 mile.  A nice Denny's restaurant next door too.
Hilton Garden Inn
6350 Vinewood Lane
Maple Grove, MN 55311
763-509-9500
$71 a night A little more upscale than the others.  Orbiz had a price of $71.   Has a pool and some other amenities.  Its about 9 miles from where the Cookout is going to be.  Its also closer to major shopping and restaurants.

These rates were calculated on 6/5/2003 for the night of August 23rd on http://www.orbitz.com  I also found these same rates by going to there corporate websites and punching in August 23rd.  These prices may go up as we get closer to the cookout.  I'd suggest making your reservations as soon as possible and do it online.  They are usually cheaper that way.  Your best bet is to just go to there corporate website and reserve your room from there.
