There are many different lowering springs available for the 3/S.  Eibach is the most popular with a 1 to 1.25 inch drop.  RSR and H&R give similar drops.  Intrax springs give the lowest drop at about 1.75 inches.  There are a couple of things to make note of with lowering springs.  Somtimes it is difficult to bring your car back into alignment after installing springs.  Another interesting fact, is Eibach springs do not fit 95-96 VR4s and R/T TTs that have a manual sunroof.  The reason for this, is there is an extra brace found in the rear strut that gets in the way of installing Eibachs.  I haven't been able to get any hard evidence about other brands of springs though.  This brace isn't found on the non-turbo models.  If you have evidence that contradict this or sheds more light on it, please let me know.
