The Schedule

Friday, May 19th
3-5pm Meet up at Baker's Sunset Bay Resort.  Their check-in time is anytime after 3pm.  I'll already be there from the night before
5:30pm  Dinner at Houlihan's restaurant.  We will drive over there from the resort.  Houlihan's has really good food.
Shortly before Dusk Head on over to the Big Sky Drive-In.(1 mile south of Dells on Hwy. 16)  They have two screens, so we should be able to find a movie to agree on.  There facilities are decent and they have a grass lot instead of gravel.
Saturday, May 20th
8:30 - 9am Meet up at Baker's Sunset Bay Resort  We'll drive over to the Automation Car Show at Noah's Ark.
9am - 1pm Attending  the 2000 Automation Car Show at Noah's Ark.  There will be over 700 show cars there.  Admission is free.   It will take some time to see all of these cars.  This is one of the largest car shows in the Upper Midwest.
1pm Lunch at Bomberino's Pizza and Pasta
2:30pm Tour of the Dells on the Original Wisconsin Ducks.   I've reserved us our own Duck boat.  Group rates are: Adults $10.50, Age 6-11 $4.50, 5 and under free.
4-6pm Go-karts at Big Chiefs.   Big Chiefs has over 20 go-kart tracks and 3 roller coasters.  It is $6 a ride or you can get 4 rides for $20.  Lets see if all of us speed freaks can be competitive on a go-kart.
6:30 - 10pm Cookout and car show at Baker's Sunset Bay Resort.  Bring your own grilling food and we'll cook it.  We will have charcoal grills and picnic tables set up.  Get your car all shined up and ready to show it off too.  There will also be beach volleyball, swimming and a bonfire later on in the evening.  It will be AWESOME.
Sunday, May 21st
9:30 - 10:30am Meet up at Baker's Sunset Bay Resort  Check out time for Baker's is 10am.  If you need to store anything, you can put it in my room.  I'll be staying an extra night.  Once everyone is there, we'll head out for a rural cruise.
10:30am - noon A rural cruise around Wisconsin Dells.  We'll be driving around the lakes of Wisconsin Dells and I promise to find some twisty and scenic roads.  Also, we will stop a few places along the way to get some pictures of our cars.
12 noon - 1:30pm At the end of the Rural Cruise we will have lunch at Danny's Diner. Danny's is a "back to the 50s" style restaurant.   They have outside seating if weather permits.
2pm - 3:30pm What's more fun than taking a tour on a boat??  Taking a really fast tour on a boat... I've reserved a Jet Boat at The Dells Experience Jet Boats These Jet Boats are 680 horsepower. Not even 15Gs will net you that much horsepower. :-)  Group rates are 10% off these prices: Adults $15, Ages 6-10 $6, 5 and under free.
3:30pm and on This concludes the 1st Annual Upper Midwest 3/S Gathering.   For anyone else who is sticking around later, I'll be heading over to play mini golf and going out to eat.  I'm staying another night.  So just let me know if you want to continue the fun....
